What Do Suta and Handpick Mean?
If you are new to buying makhana, two words may confuse you. Here they are in simple terms.
Suta
Suta is the size grade of makhana. The bigger the Suta number, the bigger the makhana. So 6+ Suta is larger than 4 Suta.
Handpick (HP)
Handpick means the pieces are picked by hand. This gives a cleaner look and more even pieces in every pack.
For everyday snacking at home, 4 Suta and 5 Suta are a good place to start. If you want bigger and more premium pieces, you can go for 5+ Suta or 6+ Suta.
